David Foster & Friends - Donna Summer - Last Dance

In Memorial remembering of the "Queen of the Disco" Miss Donna Summer....she Died May 17th 2012...Here her LAST performance before she Past../ En Memoria de la muerte de Donna Summer la "Reina del Disco"...Ella muere Mayo 17 del 2012...En este Clip su ULTIMA aparicion antes de perder la Vida.
My first memories from her was when I was a 10 Year old liitle kid climbing a chair with a couple of Books of the Huge Encyclopedias back in the 70'S to Reach my sister Marisela's Stereo Systems with a Vynil RECORD almost as big as me every TIME she leaved my House(I was so lucky of not falling down and break my head)...and I started Dancing and singing all her songs from the album "I feel Love"...I didn't knew in that time I was Gay,Gay Gay and of course much less that Music will have such an IMPACT in my all LIFE.... also I had in me my Mother's genes and sensibility since she was a "Singer" and an Actress and I knew as well many many other SONGS from Spanish Singers and Argentinian Tango melodies...As I said I was moved by Music and Extraordinary Singers since I remember,my mother always smiled "ASKING ME" you too know also "this song and the Lyrics"????, saying SON you are very SPECIAL.
Thanks to my father who always Spoke to me and all my brothers in English since we where little Kids in "my case" almost writing,speaking and most Important UNDERSTANDING English right away besides Spanish my native language as a kid .Looking back all HER music was always in all my Life and of Course MUSIC has been always the Engine of my Passion to Dance and after being forced by my Parents to leaved my House when they Discovered I was Gay, very PAINFUL times along with with "10 years the Silence" of my Mother and some of my Brothers held on me...in that period of time somehow I was going to a "Private Social Health Club" and took Aerobics classes since I loved the MUSIC so much...adding another Discipline besides the ones I had already practiced like "Running, Martial Arts, Swimming and Gymnastics...which I was very GIFTED and MOST of the time "the Best" among other Kids.....then in this "Pain and Chaos" in my Life with my Family I had to find a JOB to support me and continuing my Studies to get my "Masters Degree of Business Management" , so Encouraged from my Aerobics teacher in this Club to BECOME an Aerobics Instructor since SHE very Often asked me to STAND next to her during the "Aerobic Class" and finally she let me finished her CLASS and she be so SURPRISED how Fast I learned to TEACH and also to see HOW I could make the Students at her Class enjoying my MOVES....Well thanks to my Aerobic teacher I signed up to enroll me in a one month "Instructor Certification School"...which was the ANSWER and my way to get MONEY and still studying at the same Time.....and Leaved my HOME very SAD and Tears of Pain but I had to be a MAN and deal with my PERSONAL way of LifeStyle .....Thanks to MUSIC and my Skills after a month of finishing my Aerobics Instructor Certification (I was already being seen by Owners and other Gym Directors)...My DESTINY was taking this PATH .....And after I finished my Certification I was Immediately HIRED by the "Beverly Hills Work Out Gym" the first Powerful CHAIN of Gym in Mexico City owned bu the MARTI Family... and my History was STARTING to RISE.....Music give me the Greatest gift I could EVER Dream.....The POWER to make "People Move", be Happy and discovered I was BORN to be along with MUSIC someone SPECIAL, SUCCESSFUL,a MOTIVATOR and an Instructor-Trainer and Devote my Life to be the BEST and have the way to SUPPORT me and live my Gay Life with NO regrets and lots of Accomplishments many moments of Triumphs like being a "BodyBuilder Champion" , "National Aerobics Champion in 1995" and mamy Jobs as "Manager or Director" of Health Clubs - Gyms in Mexico City and in the United States as the Group Ex Director of "Ballys Hollywood" fro 5 Years along with the chance to travel around the WORLD Teaching , Training and Inspiring People trough the MUSIC and Exercise, Donna Summer Music was present in each Day of my Career Till TODAY It was BACK then a NON STOP TAPE from her 2 Dance REMIXES till the TAPES where NOW days CD'S and using her MUSIC in my Aerobic Classes in the GYMS I had worked in Los Angeles....I had the chance to see Donna Summer at the "Hollywood Bowl" 6 Years ago in her "COMING BACK Concerts" and had the blessing to see Donna Still Alive , my Music ICON,my Idol, my Muse and BLOW Every One AWAY when she SANG as GOOD and AMAZING as she did in 1977 and Create an AMAZING Applause and Screaming when she SANG all her HITS and made all the Hollywood Bowl get UP of their seats and DANCE and DANCE, an unforgettable Evening for those Fans who loved Donna Summer a DREAM come true of seeing the SINGERS I was inspired in one of their Concerts .
The last Performance she did in 2012 was in the Special "David Foster and Friends"and again Miss Summer let everybody Speechless when she Performed besides others songs ...HER most KNOWN song "Last Dance" and made a STATEMENT with her VOICE still POWERFUL as EVER singing her HART out Live "Last Dance"..I want to share with you this AMAZING CONCERT with the Genius of Mr. David Foster....if you have time watch this You Tube Clips from "David Foster's Friends" it's PRETTY unique and Amazing.

More About her Life:
Summer died on May 17, 2012 at age 63, after a years-long battle with cancer/ La Cantante Donna Summer muere Mayo 17 del 2012.
Summer's debut performance came one Sunday when she was 10 years old, when a singer scheduled to perform at her church did not show up. The priest, who knew from her parents Summer's fondness for singing, invited her to perform instead—expecting, at the least, an amusing spectacle. But to everyone's surprise, the voice that bellowed out of Donna Summer's tiny body that Sunday morning was overwhelmingly powerful and beautiful.

"You couldn't see her if you were beyond the third row," her father remembered. "But you could hear her." Summer recalled, "I started crying, everybody else started crying. It was quite an amazing moment in my life & and at some point after I heard my voice come out I felt like God said to me, 'Donna, you're going to be very, very famous.' And I just knew from that day on I was going to be famous."
In 1975, Summer co-wrote and recorded a demo version of a seductive disco track called "Love to Love You Baby," initially intending it for another artist. Producers liked Summer's demo version so much that they decided to make it her song instead. The final version released in the United States, an unprecedented 17 minutes long, featured Summer's tantalizingly soft vocals and sensual moaning—sounds so suggestive, in fact, that many radio stations initially refused to play the song. Nevertheless, the path-breaking disco track became an overnight sensation, skyrocketing to No. 2 on the U.S. singles chart and serving as the titular track of her second album. Building on the success of "Love to Love You Baby," Summer released two albums in 1976: A Love Trilogy and Four Seasons of Love, both of which were enormous successes. In 1977, Summer released two more hit albums, I Remember Yesterday and Once Upon a Time, and in 1978 her single "Last Dance" from the soundtrack of Thank God It's Friday won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Summer's 1978 live album, entitled Live and More, became her first to reach No. 1 on the Billboard album charts and likewise featured her first No. 1 single in "MacArthur Park." A year later, she achieved the biggest commercial success of her career with the album Bad Girls, which instantly spawned two No. 1 singles, "Bad Girls" and "Hot Stuff," making Summer the first female artist to score three No. 1 songs in a single calendar year. As the 1970s gave way to the 1980s, Summer briefly abandoned disco to release two R&B albums: The Wanderer (1980) and Donna Summer (1982). Returning to dance music in 1983, she scored her biggest hit of the decade with "She Works Hard for the Money." The title track, based on Summer's feelings upon encountering a sleeping bathroom attendant at a restaurant, has become something of a feminist anthem.

Fitness Article in the Adelante Magazine May 2016 “Resistance Training with Gravity Part #1”Pull and Push without Hurting your Joints.

Hello my Dear readers this month Adelante celebrates his 18th Year Anniversary!! thanks to you for reading US all this time and to “Adelante” a Huge thanks for making me part of his family I’m very Blessed 6 years so far...my Gratitude. Well now is time to move along and talk about Resistance...but what does it mean?...First of all we need to know about GRAVITY...which is defined as “The natural force that causes objects to be pulled towards the center of the earth”, it causes objects to have WEIGHT.Because the earth is round, no matter where you are on it the center is always straight down. Thus, in order to have continuous tension on our muscles while training we must make sure the actual RESISTANCE we use travels a paths that are straight up (PUSH) or straight down (PULL) as Simple as that with just some WARNINGS when you (PUSH )to avoid “Hypertension” or Fully Locking your Arms or Legs .When you PULL it’s ok to fully extend your Arms in the Beginning of the Exercise lets say PULL UPS or other variations to work Back Muscles.So here is the Problem when you FULLY LOCK your arms in a Chest press either sitting or lying down in a bench... the ELBOW JOINT gets all the Impact of that Locking plus the Tons of weight you are working, so a WISE Trainer will tell you NEVER HYPEREXTEND and keep ALWAYS a little flexion right BEFORE you are about to HYPEREXTEND Legs or Arms,doing this the muscles you are working out has the RESISTANCE on them all the time, if you hiperextend you will probably do LOTS of repetitions but never really exhaust the muscle and must likely you will HURT one of this days your Elbow, Shoulder or Knee joint or Ligaments.What I’m telling you is Cleaning and Perfecting EVERY single Exercise you are doing.Take a minute to read all this again and just to understand what I say do your Routine and don’t hiperextend when you Push.You will feel the Difference.

So lets start with the “Assisted Pull Up Machine” by now in all the Gyms and doing “Back Muscles and Biceps” :

1.- Knowing the “Pull Up Assisted Machine” (working muscles of the back and biceps).
First choose the weight that is situated in the right side of the Machine, be aware that this machines work backwards “the more plates you add” the less Effort you will do when you kneel and put both legs in the cushion, step UP in the machine on the 2 first steps to get into the machine,now look UP and see the very different handles, in this image I’m grabbing the Very WIDE grips(this one is the advanced and tuff ONE) ,then the next handles are the semi-wide and the last 2 handles are call close grip.See image #1.

2.-Getting on the “Pull Up Assisted Machine” (working muscles of the back and biceps).Now after selecting the plates put your right knee FIRST in the cushion, then grad the machine and look UP and choose the Close Grip handles,as you had both hands on it now put the Left Leg and feel how the cushion will go DOWN to Assits you and not fall to the Floor.See image #2.

3.-“Pull Up Assisted Machine” Close Grip” Starting Position(working more biceps and back).As you see in the image I’m literally hanging with my arms fully extended and both knees in the cushion,feel the great stretch of your Arms..Inhale.See image #3.

4.-“Pull Up Assisted Machine” Close Grip” Ending Position(working more biceps and back).Now as you exhale,pull your body UP Slow and look in the image that besides working out your back this close grip will work simultaneous your Biceps very intense.Then slow return down to starting position and let your arms extend, the repeat. 4 sets - 20 reps. See image #4

5.- “Pull Up Assisted Machine” Wide Grip” Starting Position(working more back and biceps).Now switch and grab the Wide handles,let your body hang down slow...Inhale.See image #5.

6.- “Pull Up Assisted Machine” Wide Grip” Ending Position(working more back and biceps).As you exhale pull your body UP and see that here in more work is towards your Back muscles under your arms pit.4 set -20reps. See image #6.

And when you are stronger after doing the Close and wide Grip then try the WIDER Grip.Remember when you start using this machine put ONE knee first, LEFT foot and leg still on the First STEP and then Grab the Handles you choose and finally then put the other knee.When you dismount do the same thing.

Articulo de Ejercicio en la Revista Adelante Mayo 2016 “Entrenamiento de Resistencia y Gravedad Parte #1 ” Jala y Empuja sin lastimar tus Articulaciones 2016. 

Hola mis queridos lectores este mes Celebramos el 18 Aniversario de la Revista!!!..gracias a USTEDES por leernos todo este Tiempo y un Inmenso”gracias” a Adelante por darme esta bendicion y hacerme parte de su familia ya por 6 anos!!...mi Gratitud infinita.Bueno sigamos “Adelante” para platicar de RESISTENCIA y su significado?...Antes que nada tenemos que mencionar GRAVEDAD..la cual es definida como “La fuerza natural que hace caer a cualquier Objeto hacia el centro de la Tierra”, causando que estos objetos tengan PESO. Debido a que la Tierra es REDONDA no importa donde estes el centro siempre sera hacia abajo. Por lo tanto para tener constantes tensiones en nuestros Musculos cuando Entrenamos tenemos que aseguraranos que la RESISTENCIA que utilizamos viaja atravez de patrones de MOVIMIENTO que se mueven hacia ARRIBA(empujamos) o hacia ABAJO(jalamos) tan simple como se oye,con unas RESTRICCIONES especialmente cuando EMPUJAMOS “no hiperextendiendo” o estirando COMPLETAMENTE brazos o piernas. Cuando JALAMOS esta bien que estiremos completamente tus brazos como en el principio de Ejercicios como Jalon o levantamiento de Espalda o variaciones para Trabajar ESPALDA. El problema es cuando ESTIRAS por completo o HIPEREXTIENDES tus brazos en un Press de Pecho ya sea “Acostado o Sentado”...pues el CODO recibe este IMPACTO mas el PESO que estes utilizando,solo un Entrenador SABIO te recomendara que NUNCA HIPEREXTIENDAS y que siempre antes de llegar a hiperextender mantengas una pequenita “flexion” en piernas o brazos,haciendo esto haras que siempre mantengas la tension constante en el musculo trabajado,si HIPEREXTIENDES hara que hagas muchas repeticiones y sin cansar o agotar el musculo y definitivamente en uno de estos dias LASTIMARAS la Articulaciion o Ligamentos de Codos,Hombros y Rodilla.Te Explico esto para que LIMPIES y PERFECCIONES cada Movimiento de tu Rutina.Toma un minuto y lee otra vez lo anterior para sentir lo que DIGO,haz tus Ejercicios manana y Evita HIPEREXTENDER cuando EMPUJES...Notaras la Diferencia.

Empezemos con la “Maquina Asistente de Espalda” que ahora esta en todo Gym haciendo Musculos de la Espalda y Biceps”

1.- Familiarizandote con “La Maquina Asistente de Espalda”(trabajando musculos de espalda y biceps). Primero escoge el peso que utilizaras situado del lado derecho de la maquina,date CUENTA que esta maquina funciona AL REVES “entre mas peso le pongas” tu haras MENOS esfuerzo al estar incado en la maquina,asi que pon menos.Subete y pon tus pies en los 2 escaloncitos,ahora mira arriba los diferentes agarres: El que estoy agarrado es el ABIERTISIMO(el mas avanzado y duro), luego el Semi-Abierto y el ultimo Agarre cerrado.Ver imagen #1.

2.- Subiendote a la “La Maquina Asistente de Espalda”(trabajando musculos de espalda y biceps).
Despues de haber puesto el peso,subete y primero pon tu RODILLA derecha en el cojin,agarrate de la maquina y mirando hacia arriba escoge tu AGARRE,al asegurate que AMBAS manos estan en los agarres ahora sube RODILLA izquierda y siente como el cojin BAJA despacio asistiendote a que NO te CAIGAS de sopeton.Ver imagen #2.

3.- “Jalon de Espalda Agarre Cerrado” Posicion Inicial(trabajando mas bicpes y musculos espalda).Como me ves en la imagen estoy literalmente colgado de los agarres con mis brazos completamente estirados,ambas rodillas en el cojin de enfrente,siente el ESTIRAMIENTO de brazos y espalda...respira.Ver imagen #3.

4.- “Jalon de Espalda Agarre Cerrado” Posicion Final(trabajando mas bicpes y musculos espalda).Ahora el Exhalar JALA levantando tu cuerpo despacio hacia arriba,mira en la imagen como trabaja tu Espalda y simultaneamente tus Biceps mas intensamente.Depues regresa despacio a posicion inicial estirando tus brazos y repite.4 sets - 20reps.Ver imagen #4.

5.- “Jalon de Espalda Agarre Abierto” Posicion inicial(trabajando mas espalda y biceps).Ahora tomaremos el Agarre Abierto,una vez mas deja que tu cuerpo cuelge despacio hacia abajo..Respira.Ver Imagen #5.

6.- “Jalon de Espalda Agarre Abierto” Posicion Final(trabajando mas espalda y biceps).Al Exhalar JALA y levanta tu cuerpo, mira en la imagen que los musculos a los lados de tu Espalda son mas activados(dorsales) ademas de los musculos de Espalda Media y Alta.Y cuando estes bien FUERTOTE utiliza el “Agarre Super Abierto”.
Recuerda que al subirte a la Maquina PRIMERO pon RODILLA derecha y tu otra pierna y pie izquierda esta AUN en el Escaloncito, luego escoje tu AGARRE y al final sube RODILLA izquierda al cojin.Cuando TERMINES y te BAJES repite lo mismo pero AL REVES.

My POP Dance Interval Class in Hollywood/Mi Clase de Baile POP e Intervalos en Hollywood.


I just can't believe that still in the Big names of Gyms here in Los Angeles like Gold's Gym, L.A.Fitness,24HOUR Fitness,Ballys, etc the PAY to Aerobic Instructors is so "CHEAP and LOW" and ultimately so INSULTING to US, reason why the Classes in these Gyms SUCK (many of them), I just got fed UP of the Owners of these Lucrative Gyms and STOP teaching...Want a Cheap, with NO experience, Mediocre and sadly Out of Shape Guy -Girl who says I'm an Instructor...well YOU Have THEM all now.... Every time I go and watch a little of somebody teaching at Golds I see this Personal Trainer with no Rhythm or even Counting and using the BEAT of the MUSIC teaching a Body Pump Class, he is sure to SCREAM louder at YOU like a Cow and doing the  Movements so UNSAFE,to FAST and with out any Transition (you learn this by Years and Years of teaching) and  some MOVES I guess out of his ass that I HAD never seeing in my Years as a Body Builder or Aerobic Instructor, of Course PEOPLE like me yes "Antiques Teachers" but knowing OUR Sh$#@T from A to Z or spending Thousands of dollars$$$ every Year in Certifications to Update our Knowledge , hours and hours of mastering Teaching Skills and teaching many, many FORMATS of what EVER YOU think is NEW NOW and TRENDY now days  (which is NOT.... is the same s@#*T but with CRAZY names, or unsafe ones like Cross fit..... I HAD seeing ALL in 40 years) and STILL so far going every Year to the CONVENTION IDEA World IDEA Health & Fitness Association​.....You CAN'T FOOL me or ANY of my Contemporaries "Master Aerobic Instructors" or those who REALLY are "Professionals Aerobic Teachers"...We can TELL in ONE minute or maybe LESS if the Instructor is an INSTRUCTOR.

I am sorry because YOU members are used to have this BAD or "SO SO Classes" cause you had never or I say rarely NEVER had a GOOD class....by the way HAD you Notice that STEP classes are GONE...I mean GONE in the Aerobics Schedule????.....cause you can't FAKE this class, a P.TRAINER can't teach this or a BAD with no rhythm Guy-Girl Instructor....Someone who CAN teach an EXCELLENT STEP class is "no joke" ..YOU have to Know how Listen to the MUSIC, COUNT and have a Great Memory.....

Living here in Hollywood has an amazing Impact in all the Angelinos...we live,breath and eat MOVIES....for some of US fans of the MARVEL and DC Universe is HUGE IMPORTANT EVENT every time a Movie from them OPENS in Los Angeles, the Excitement is in each Movie theatre you come to see the Latest of this HOLLYWOOD Master Pieces....Star Wars, Batman, Superman and soon WONDER WOMAN my OWN role model and Favorite since I was 8 years Old....It's one more blessed I have in my Life be in this moment in my Unique Life in this Planet.


Which TEAM are YOU ???....Team IRON MAN or Team CAPTAIN AMERICA?....here is WHERE the amazing Script of this MARVEL MOVIE shines and KICK ASS to the ones before in my Personal Opinion, as I mentioned in this Album of my "Role Models" when I was just a little kid , TIME and TECHNOLOGY had been Possible to make Better and More Spectacular Each Marvel Super Hero and all the Scene Actions Blowing our Minds and Expectations,I had seen now 48 years all my Super Heroes go from an Amazing Hollywood MAGIC back then when SUPERMAN and their Visual Effects where so hard to FILM but not any less Exciting or Spectacular by that Time, now as a GROWN Adult and evolving as a Human and Person along with MOVIES and TECHNOLOGY my Passion , Admiration and Respect to my "Role Super Hero Models" are the best Joy and Experiences in my all LIFE that fulfill my HART and makes my Imagination have NO Limits thanks to the HOLLYWOOD Film Makers,Producers and of course all the CAST  "Actresses and Actors" who have the AMAZING Ability to GIVE LIFE to each Super Hero...it's FK#@*$@N FANTASTIC!!!....
